Overlooking the city of Tver, USSR, ~150km north of Moscow
From a fortified position on the edge of the forest, a German artillery spotter looks out over bombed out warehouses. ”Anything yet, Otto?” his commander asks, chewing a mouthful of scho-ka-kola. ”No, Commandant.” he responds with a tired sigh.
The city is a vast, bleak landscape of shattered bricks, crumbling stone, and twisted steel.
